Clay Tea Cake Wrapper Frame
I make these clay frames so that you can hang your favorite wrapper on display. They are between 6.5 and 7’ in diameter and between 1 1/4 and 1 1/2’ thick. There are tabs on the back side so that you can wrap the wrapper around and tuck it behind the tabs holding it in place. They are intended to be oriented along a vertical axis between the tabs and hung on a nail, best hammered into the wall at a diagonal with the head up. they are made to accommodate cakes around the 200mg size. depending on the size of the image larger wrappers may work as well but I suggest measuring the image to be sure it will display nicely.
I made some glazed in case you have a particularly fragile wrapper and want a smoother surface for the wrapper to interact with. The clay wrappers are sanded smooth to prevent any damage but have enough texture to help the wrapper secure to the frame.
